(My
little disclaimer: As with all Survivor
profiles, I am totally making all this
stuff up as if I actually have a clue.
I do not in any way know any of these
survivors. However, I've received many
emails from past Survivors complimenting
me on my insight. So, although I make
this crap up, sometimes I'm actually right.)
I
like it when people have a serious interest
and passion for something. And this something
can be most anything at all as long as
they are passionate about it and really
throw themselves into learning more, improving
their art, expanding their abilities and
knowledge, or just whatever.
But
there's a limit to how dedicated one should
be. Once someone crosses that limit, then
it begins to seem a little bit weird.
I
think Lillian has crossed that limit.
Although
I've never been in Boy Scouts, I firmly
believe in what they do and how they so
very well help build character and instill
successful life-skills in young boys and
men. So it's understandable that someone
can be quite enthusiastic.
But
geez, woman, I've already seen your uniform
far too much and the show hasn't even
started, yet!
And
yes, I'm sure this was exaggerated due
to the "shipwrecked" them to
Survivor Pearl Islands, thus being forced
to live in only the clothes on your back.
But still, it was all you talked about
in your audition video. It was mentioned
many times in your profile. And I'm sure
you'll connect everything you do on the
islands to the Boy Scouts.
As
long as she doesn't shove it down peoples'
throats on the island, insisting things
be done this or that way because "that's
how it's done in Boy Scouts," she
may just be enough of an asset to her
tribe to keep her around. I'm sure she
went in there knowing how her age made
her an instant target because of the need
to win team challenges. We'll just have
to see if she tried a little too hard
to demonstrate her skills and her leadership
abilities or if her endearing personality
was allowed to shine.
I've read comments from people that know
"Big Lill" and it's pretty unanimous
in that she is just a wonderful lady.
Her favorites show a very youthful, fun-loving
woman who's interested in trying new things
and expanding her horizons and views.
Her favorite music: Hard Rock, AC/DC,
Rap, Nelly, Country, Garth Brooks, Pop.
Favorite TV shows: Will & Grace, Sex
& the City.
That's
some pretty whacked stuff for a 51-year-old.
Wouldn't
it be exciting if we are allowed to see
"Lill" instead of the Boy Scoutmaster
of Troop 617?
One
thing she has going for her is her tribe
-- definite underdogs, in my opinion,
compared to the SuperTribe Drake consisting
of Rupert (aka Hagrid), Trish (aka Sitcom
Mom), S7 Sweetheart Michelle, and Superman
Burton. Her tribe needs her very badly
and unless she goes nuts with the Boy
Scout thing, I'm thinking she'll go pretty
far in this game.
I
hope that she helps to increase enrollment
of Boy Scouts everywhere. Like I said,
I think it's a wonderful organization.
But
I moreso hope that she somehow finds another
outfit to wear.
